These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of AIM (AI Menu), including our web application, mobile application, meal-planning tools, recipe library, grocery-list features, AI assistant, household features, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). "AIM," "we," "us," and "our" refer to the operator of the Service. "You" and "your" refer to the person who creates an account, uses the Service, or accesses the Service on behalf of a household.

By creating an account, checking the Terms acceptance box, linking a grocery account, starting a trial or subscription, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

AIM provides personalized meal-planning support, recipe discovery, grocery lists, estimated ingredient and grocery costs, household planning tools, pantry and leftover tracking, nutrition program content, recipe notes, meal ratings, and AI-assisted chat. The Service may use your profile, selected goals, health conditions, dietary preferences, allergies, medications, disliked foods, favorite foods, favorite cuisines, household size, meal ratings, pantry items, grocery preferences, and other information you provide to suggest meals and related content.

AIM is a planning and education tool. It is not a medical device, healthcare provider, dietitian, pharmacy, emergency service, grocery store, insurer, or payment institution.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of a household, you represent that you have authority to enter and manage information for that household. You are responsible for providing accurate account and profile information, keeping it current, maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials, and all activity under your account.

You may not create an account using false information, impersonate another person, interfere with another user's account, or access the Service by automated means except through features we expressly provide.

3. Health, Nutrition, Allergy, and Medication Disclaimers

The Service provides general nutrition information, meal suggestions, recipes, educational content, grocery guidance, and AI-generated responses for informational and educational purposes only. The Service does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, prevention, cure, professional nutrition counseling, or emergency care.

You are responsible for deciding whether foods, recipes, meal plans, nutrition programs, and ingredients are appropriate for you and your household. You should consult a qualified physician, registered dietitian, pharmacist, or other licensed professional before relying on the Service, especially if you are pregnant, nursing, managing a medical condition, taking medication, have food allergies or intolerances, have a history of disordered eating, or are making significant diet or lifestyle changes.

Allergens, ingredient labels, product formulations, cross-contamination risks, medication interactions, nutrition facts, availability, substitutions, and store information can change. You must independently verify all ingredients, labels, allergen warnings, preparation steps, serving sizes, and suitability before cooking, eating, purchasing, or serving food to others. If you have a medical emergency or urgent health concern, call emergency services immediately.

4. AI-Generated and Automated Content

Some content in the Service is generated, ranked, summarized, or assisted by artificial intelligence or other automated systems. This may include meal plans, recipe substitutions, grocery lists, weekly tips, chat responses, recipe images or prompts, nutrition explanations, and plan recommendations. AI and automated outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, unsafe for your circumstances, or inconsistent with your preferences.

You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated and automated content before relying on it, shopping from it, cooking from it, feeding it to others, or sharing it. We may modify, remove, or decline to generate content at any time.

5. Household Features and Shared Content

AIM supports household planning. Meal plans, grocery lists, pantry items, leftovers, family member profiles, saved shopping lists, and certain notes may be visible to or managed by members of the same household. If you invite another person to a household or accept a household invite, you understand that shared household information may be accessible to other household members.

Do not add another person's personal, health-related, dietary, allergy, medication, or preference information unless you have permission to do so. You are responsible for the information you add about family members and household members.

6. Grocery, Store, Price, and Ordering Features

Grocery lists, ingredient quantities, product matches, store availability, product sizes, prices, taxes, fees, discounts, coupons, delivery charges, pickup availability, and cart actions are estimates or third-party information. Actual prices and availability may vary by location, store, time, brand, product size, substitution, tax, fee, promotion, and third-party provider.

If you connect a supported grocery provider such as Kroger, you authorize us to use that connection to perform the actions you request, such as finding stores, searching products, selecting a preferred store, estimating prices, or adding grocery items to your cart. Grocery providers are independent third parties. Your purchases, carts, substitutions, refunds, delivery, pickup, product quality, recalls, and store account terms are governed by the applicable provider, not AIM. You should review all cart items and totals directly with the provider before purchase.

7. Subscriptions, Trials, and Payments

Some features may require a subscription, free trial, discount code, or app-store purchase. Subscription availability, pricing, billing intervals, trial periods, renewal terms, cancellation options, and refunds may vary by platform and offer. If a subscription is billed by Apple, Google, or another app-store provider, that provider's billing, cancellation, and refund terms apply.

Unless a trial or promotional offer states otherwise, access may be limited when a subscription expires, is canceled, becomes past due, or cannot be verified. We may change subscription plans and pricing prospectively, subject to applicable law and platform rules.

8. Your Content and License to Operate the Service

You may provide profile information, household information, health-related selections, food preferences, pantry items, leftovers, grocery choices, meal ratings, notes, feedback, chat messages, custom recipe information, and other content ("Your Content"). You retain any rights you have in Your Content.

You grant AIM a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, process, display, transmit, modify for formatting or technical purposes, and otherwise use Your Content as needed to provide, secure, maintain, improve, and support the Service. You represent that you have the rights and permissions necessary to provide Your Content.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, abusive, or misleading purposes.
  • Enter information about another person without appropriate permission.
  • Use the Service to obtain emergency, medical, diagnostic, treatment, or crisis support.
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, crawl, copy, resell, or commercially exploit the Service except as allowed by law or written permission.
  • Upload malware, interfere with security, probe for vulnerabilities, or attempt unauthorized access.
  • Misrepresent AI-generated content as professional medical advice or as reviewed by AIM unless we expressly say so.
  • Use the Service to generate or share content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, discriminatory, infringing, or unsafe.

10. Intellectual Property

The Service, including our software, design, interfaces, brand elements, compilations, data structures, templates, and content we provide, is owned by AIM or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property and other laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your personal or household meal planning.

Recipes and nutrition information may include public-domain, licensed, user-provided, AI-assisted, or AIM-created elements. You may use meal plans, grocery lists, and recipes generated for your account for personal or household purposes. You may not copy, publish, sell, or build a competing service from AIM content or data without written permission.

11. Third-Party Services and Links

The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services, including grocery providers, app stores, email providers, AI providers, speech/transcription services, analytics or hosting providers, and other tools. Third-party services are not controlled by AIM and may have their own terms, privacy policies, fees, restrictions, and data practices. We are not responsible for third-party services.

12. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information. By using the Service, you consent to those practices.

13. Service Changes and Availability

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. The Service may be unavailable, delayed, inaccurate, or interrupted because of maintenance, third-party outages, model-provider errors, network issues, security events, demand, or other reasons. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available in every location or on every device.

14. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access, remove content, disable integrations, or take other appropriate action if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk for AIM or others, used the Service unlawfully, or if we are required to do so by law or a third-party provider. Some provisions of these Terms will survive termination, including sections about disclaimers, limitations of liability, intellectual property, privacy, and other terms that by their nature should survive.

15. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We disclaim all warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, safety, and reliability.

We do not warrant that meal plans, recipes, grocery lists, nutrition information, AI outputs, prices, product matches, calorie estimates, macro estimates, allergy handling, medication-related warnings, or third-party integrations will be accurate, safe, complete, current, or appropriate for you or your household.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AIM and its owners, employees, contractors, licensors, service providers, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; lost profits; lost data; business interruption; personal injury; health outcomes; allergic reactions; medication or condition-related issues; grocery ordering problems; third-party conduct; or unauthorized access arising from or related to your use of or inability to use the Service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AIM's total liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to AIM for the Service in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim or one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

17. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold AIM and its owners, employees, contractors, licensors, service providers, and affiliates harmless from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your use of the Service, Your Content, your violation of these Terms, your violation of law, or your violation of another person's rights.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms will be posted with a new "Last updated" date. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify registered users, such as by email or in-app notice. Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

19. Contact

If you have questions about these Terms, contact us through the support or feedback features available in the application.
